Calla Palustris, or Water Arum, is a rambling plant with heart-shaped leaves, white flowers are followed by bright red seed heads. Water Arum is one of the very few plants known to be pollinated by snails as they are attracted by the flower’s scent. Calla Palustris plant creeps from where it is first planted. In summer, the growing shoots can be cut off to encourage branching, and pushed into the soil to propagate.
